Eastern Steel Sdn Bhd
Eastern Steel Sdn Bhd (ESSB) is a fully integrated steel manufacturing facility located on a 1,209-acre industrial site in Kemaman, Terengganu. A joint venture between Beijing Jianlong Heavy Industry Group and Hiap Teck Venture Berhad, ESSB operates one of Malaysia’s most advanced blast furnace steel complexes.
With full in-house production—from coke and sintering to iron, steel, and ferroalloy—ESSB has an annual capacity of 2.52 million tonnes of pig iron, 2.7 million tonnes of billets and slabs, and 800,000 tonnes of coke, supplying both local and global markets.
